CAMPAIGN FOUR:
Does Homophobia Have a Carbon Count?
Gender Perception and Safety
The Action Campaign
- Collect and document personal narratives of individuals who have experienced harassment due to homophobia or gender bias
- Survey riders from multiple routes to determine the need for increased safety and education.
- Support making public transportation a viable and safe first option for all individuals in the community.
- Document homophobia's carbon count by adding up how many people choose private transportation for personal safety reasons.
- Volunteer your expertise to help create the media campaign, compile research materials, make a You Tube video, design a web site, make stickers, and raise money. Be Part of the Solution.
